PUBLIC HEARING FEBRUARY 20, 2023

The Nederland Independent School District's Texas Academic Performance Report (TAPR) for the 2021-2022 academic year will be discussed during the regular meeting of the Board of Trustees on February 20, 2023, at 6:00 p.m. in the Nederland ISD Board Room.  220 17^th Street, Nederland, Texas.  The TAPR Report portion of the meeting will be a Public Hearing. Copies of the report will be available to the general public upon request.

The NHS Art Department collaborated with the The City of Nederland, Texas to showcase NISD students’ artistic talent. The banners are displayed on Boston Avenue. Congratulations to Lynell Smith and the students who provided the art to beautify our city. 

2022-2023

NISD Challenge Program (GT) Information

Nominations for the Nederland Independent School District Challenge Program (GT) are being accepted for students who will be in Grades K through 8 during the 2022-2023 academic year. This program is specifically designed to serve students who demonstrate a potential for giftedness. Information about the Challenge Program and the form for nominating a student is available on the NISD website. All nominations must be submitted online from December 1, 2022 - Friday, January 13, 2023. For more information, please contact your campus administration.
