Monday, April 22, 2024, from 5:00 - 7:00 pm at Langham Elementary School, 800 12th Street, in Nederland.

Every Pre-Kindergarten student will register at Langham on this day, though he/she may attend another campus in the fall.

Thursday, January 25 at 6:00 pm at Nederland High School's PAC Center, 2101 North 18th Street, Nederland

Nederland ISD will be offering FULL DAY Pre-Kindergarten for qualifying 4-year-old children for the 2024-2025 school year.

To be eligible for enrollment in a Pre-Kindergarten class, a child must be four years of age on or before September 1, 2024, and must meet one of the following requirements:

• is unable to speak and comprehend the English language
• is educationally disadvantaged
• is homeless
• is the child of an active duty member of the armed forces of the United States
• is the child of a member of the armed forces of the United States, including the state military forces or a reserve component of the armed forces, who was injured or killed while serving on active duty
• is or has ever been in the conservatorship of the Texas DFPS (foster care)
• is the child of a person eligible for the Star of Texas Award such as a peace officer, a firefighter, or an emergency medical first responder
