The Texas Department of State Health Services has begun a statewide emergency preparedness campaign to encourage Texans to be prepared for emergencies such as hurricanes, wildfires, terrorist attacks, and disease outbreaks.
 

The campaign is called Ready or Not? HAVE A PLAN and is available online in the English language at TexasPrepares.org and, in Spanish, at TexasPrepara.org. Texas families can create a family emergency plan, build a customized disaster supplies list, and get information about the threat alerts.
