It is the goal of the NISD transportation department to provide the safest , most dependable and efficient means of transportation possible. Prompt and courteous transportation will be strived for at all times.

Student Ridership Eligibility-NISD students must live 2 or more miles from the campus they are attending to be eligible for bus service. Transportation will only be provided to and from a student’s residence. Transfer students are not eligible for transportation to/from school.

Student Conduct-Students and parents should realize that school bus transportation is a privilege, not a right, and that students could possibly lose that privilege for a violation of the bus rules. A violation of bus rules will result in a bus conduct report being sent to the student’s campus administrator. All disciplinary action will be the decision of the campus administrator.
