Texas Reading Lists

CMS is a Bluebonnet program participating school.  The Bluebonnet committee for the state of Texas selects 20 nominees from a variety of genres and book formats published during the year prior.  Students in grades 3rd-6th can participate in the program by reading at least (but not limited to) FIVE of the 20 nominations.  In January, students who complete the criteria will be able to vote for their favorite book that they read from the nomination list.  All votes from students in the entire state of Texas will then be calculated, and the book receiving the highest number of votes will be designated as the winner of the Texas Bluebonnet Award.
