I am beginning my 25th year in education, all in Nederland ISD. This is my 10th year as the Hillcrest Elementary Principal. I served 10 years as an assistant principal at Central Middle School, three years as a 5th-grade teacher at CMS, and one year teaching at Nederland High School. I received my undergraduate, Master's, and Doctor of Education degrees at Lamar University. I was awarded the 2010 TASSP Outstanding Assistant Principal award. My wife currently teaches at Central Middle School. I, along with my wife, graduated from Nederland High School. We have two beautiful daughters, Kaitlyn a 2020 NHS graduate, and Tori a 2022 NHS graduate . We attend First Baptist Church of Nederland. I love to play golf, spend time with family, and watch the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Astros. I could not think of a better place to serve my community than Hillcrest Elementary.
